I am off work today to take Calliope to the hospital for a myelogram. As she mentioned in her LJ, she'll have to lay flat for 4-5 hours AFTER the procedure is done. Well, I survived the trip to Murfreesboro yesterday. While I was giving my talk, I didn't think it was going over that well. It was, overall, an older audience than my fellowship and it seemed that my little attempts at humor that I had spread throughout the talk were not connecting.
